Mentoplasty corrects a recessed chin, a weak jawline or profile imbalance by adjusting lower-face projection. Planning is based on lower-face height, the Ricketts E-line and the nose–chin relationship. It is often combined with rhinoplasty as profileplasty. Millimetre-level simulation is done with Vectra 3D.
